Kenanyahu is the Mystic of the Omri tribe. Amongst the Riverkin, Mystic is the title given to any magic-user, but being a tribe's Mystic means being the magical adviser to the Elders. Kenanyahu is a hardline conservative of the Old Order, and he is extremely upset with Haran over the appointment of a female Judge. He has threatened to write an official Epistle (a letter to the Hamwech voicing an opinion, the central tool of the Riverkin during times of debate, especially the Upheavals) declaring the intent of a faction of the Omri tribe to instigate a Schism.
