Description Kelyfonaut are anthropomorphic nautiluses. They have smooth, whorled shells and dozens of tentacles, including two cilia-covered ones near their eyes. Their shells rest on their backs, and their torsos protrude outward, with the tentacles flowing beneath.Their mouths, with nine sharp teeth, are covered by a veil of tentacles. Their shells are light on bottom and dark on top.
Procreation Follows the mother. Lays eggs.
Magic One in five million have heart or soul magic. Mind and body magic are possible. Void is possible. Faith is not uncommon.
Special Powers Kelyfonauts have no suckers on their tentacles, but their tentacles are incredibly strong and tough. They move by jet propulsion by retracting into their shells, filling their bodies with water, and forcing it out. Their shells are chambered, allowing them to store a great deal within them. Their eyesight is poor but their sense of smell is very strong.
Weaknesses  
Culture Kelyfonauts are proud beings. They live in small towns in the coral reefs which they guard fiercely. They revere instinct and urge, and they are a very impulsive people.
