Kayan Ado is a cat the size of a buffalo, covered in fur of blue with spots that are like gemstones shining in the light. She is a being of dumaqu. She has a tail three times as longer as her body, six legs ending in sharp claws, teeth like daggers, and eyes that glow deepest blue. She embodies every kind of love: romantic love, sexual desire, familial love, agape, affection, communal love, self-love, and more. She is beautiful to behold. She can take the form of a feeling of warmth and love in the hearts of those who need her.

She has the power to blind with her beauty, to inspire with her beauty, and to uplift with her beauty. All animals, plants, and fungi who are not of mortal intelligence view her as benevolent and safe, and she rewards them by not harming them. But she will kill and devour those who seek to destroy love itself. Her breath is made of a wind that scours the flesh off those who preach and spread hatred. She can calm the fire of baleblood with a glance, and she can give invincible strength to those wounded by love lost.

Kayan Ado has many names around the world. Ki Ag Nemur is her name in Mahad and western Dabusen and among all inannans; Kosmigata is her name among the nymphs and in southern Ranu; Mbarakaja Ayhu is her name in eastern Palhur; Bijoux Chat is her name in Lyrilla and Jesenya; Hōseki Neko is her name in eastern Dabusen; Gahana Billee is her name in subcontinental Dabusen; and many others around the world.

Her breath can sooth the love-lorn. Her voice inspires people to speak of their love. And her blood is the most potent of love potions--but it instills actual love, not obsession or infatuation.

During the last War of the Gods, she fought Ghanalac, the Masked Ripper, a violent Eldritch horror, and encased him in a jewel, but in doing so, she was greatly weakened and captured by the Agikaani Emperor. She is now held in a horrible cage by genocidal might.
