A gnomish flutist who is well known in Akazad & Kren'atan as playing dark, entrancing music that the more morose nobility & wealthy tend to patron him for. There are rumors that he uses a "composing engine" to write his work, but no one has ever seen it.

Katzenheim's compositions are complex, so complex that no one else seems to be able to play them properly. When they are not flute solos, the majority of parts can be played well enough, but the flute parts are always seemingly impossible--and yet, many people have heard him play these impossible flute bits.

He is considered neither old school nor New School, but merely a genius anomaly, combining the implausible gnomish tendencies to classical music.
