Looking like a cross between a monkey & a frog, the kappa has a shallow bowl in as part of its head. When this is filled with water, the kappa is invincible & strong beyond belief.

Kappas have apelike faces, beaks of a tortoise, shells on their backs, & webbed feet & hands. Kappas are pranksters, but have a deep sense of etiquette. If one bows to a kappa, it will bow back (& likely spill its bowl).

A kappa is an immortal water dweller.
