J'klaek is a Namer who grew up on Shem in the city of T'los. He was raised to respect the Truth, and thus, when he went out to see the world, the lack of respect appalled him. He returned to his home city and found it wanting. He felt lost. He wandered for another year, working odd jobs, collecting odd names, until he came to a temple of the Veiled God. There, he found a Name that had significant meaning, a Name that helped him understand mystery, deception, and subjectivity. He took the Name unto himself. He felt empowered. He wandered the world more, seeking new insights, until one day he came to the Mountain of Trials. He had been working his way there for years, with one intention--to enter the service of this new concept. He succeeded at his climb. He came down a Servant, and when he did, he could read the ancient writings on the walls of the nearby temple, directing him to a certain place at a certain time. He was befuddled at how they could mark such a current date even though they were clearly ancient. He was curious, so he went to the location at the marked time. When he arrived, he met an old woman...

...and four hundred years later, he is now a general in her order.
