Description Jibrili appear to be angels with six hundred wings, each of which covers the horizon. Jewels fall from the wings, pearls and rubies. Their feet never touch the ground.
Procreation As permitted by their leaders, only with each other.
Esoterica All angels gain power from the Divine they serve. They are made of heavenly light, and therefore, all of their powers are filtered through that energy. Jibrils are imbued with sol angelic aether, radiance , and the Divine might of Dawn. Other powers vary and are limited in their uses, but unholy powers are impossible.
Special Powers Each kind of angel has special powers based on their function in service to their Divine. All angels have a holy aura. For jibrils that aura is sol angelic aether that burns the dishonorable. All angels also communicate directly to the souls of the faithful or those who have not been wholly corrupted.
Scribe

Scribe jibrilss have powers that aide them in the administration of their domains. They have a pen made from one of their feathers, called a stylus. A jibril's stylus has the power to script the deeds of honor and dishonor of a mortal, empowering or weakening them. They have an oculus power that allows them to see aetherial energies. They also have an aspectu, which is their power to see and understand the consequences and intentions of an action with a glance.

All scribes understand any non-evil language and have the power to understand their Divine's judgment of a mortal and inscribe it upon the scrolls of Heaven.

Herald

Herald jibril's powers aide them in spreading the Word of Dawn. They bear a trumpet called a lituus, which summons the rising sun. Their cross, or crucis, warms the honorable and burns the dishonorable, and usually both to most mortals. And their scrolls bear the Word, which instill strength and determination in those who hear or read them.

Herald jibrils have a capio, or required task, which requires them to spread honor, dignity, and respect. As they do this, they become stronger. Their oculus allows them to see dignity, and their infundere allows them to infuse honorable strength and prowess into the dignified.

Heralds can appear anywhere, though if they appear in unholy areas, it can hurt them. They speak all non-evil tongues. No one who hears their words, or voce, will ever forget them.

Warrior

Warrior jibrils have powers that aide them in fighting evil. They bear a sword called a gladius and a shield called a scutum (though their appearances to not necessarily match those terms). Their gladius burns with golden sunfire, and their scutum has a burning bright and hot corona. Their oculus allows them to see dignity. They have a presence called a coram, which warms the honorable.

Warriors gain power through service. For every 1,000 beings of pure evil they destroy, they gain a new power, capping at twelve:

  • First: Summon leons del sol
  • Second: Immunity to msawhat
  • Third: Sunfire wave
  • Fourth: Instill honorable strength
  • Fifth: Invoke trial of the desert on moderate sinner
  • Sixth: Intensify scutum corona
  • Seventh: Solar wind blast
  • Eighth: Shield those lost in the desert
  • Ninth: Raise sun, once per Age
  • Tenth: Burning nova sacrifice
  • Eleventh: Command sollarians
  • Twelfth: 100' solar prominence (one direction)

The more evil a foe is, the more attacks a warrior has per round, capping at twelve.

Guardian

Guardian jibrils protect innocents, the honorable, and followers of Dawn. Those they protect cannot see them without esoteric intervention. If their ward's soul is in incredible danger, they can intervene at the cost of their existence.

Guardian jibrils have a power called teneo, which allows them to absorb dishonor to protect their ward. Their oculus allows them to see the dignity and honor of any around them, and their augere power allows them to increase the sense of fairness in their ward, if need be.

Once in the life of their ward, they may physically intervene to protect them, surrounding them with a holy barrier that burns with the light of the holy sun.

Lord

Lord jibrils are the most powerful of all jibrils. Their very presence exudes power. This is called coram. For lord jibrils, their presence is one of intense solar heat, allowing them to shine like the sun and burn away evil.

Every lord angel gains power both from serving their Divine and from being served by lesser angels. The gain a new power every Age they exist in service, capping at twelve:

Service

Jibrils serve Dawn.

Scribe jibrils administer the work of Dawn. They keep track of the actions, both honorable and dishonorable, of all followers of Dawn. They do all of the minor tasks that make the realm of the Golden Blossom work.

Herald jibrils spread honor, dignity, and respect in the world. They leave the Gardens and spread the Word, seeking out those mortals who will do great feats of honor in the world and empowering them. They also carry messages for Dawn between Her and other Divines. They come to Shem during the nights of the summer season, extending the length of the days. They also test the followers of Dawn.

Warrior jibrils are the army of Honor and Dignity. They oppose evil in all its forms and serve as Dawn's defense against the powers of the Infernal. They are a disciplined, honorable army led by their General Auricos.

Guardian jibrils protect the honorable and followers of Dawn. They exist as protectors. Holier beings sometimes have more than one guardian. They cannot leave their service to their ward, or they fall.

Lord jibrils run Golden Gardens and see to it that all other jibrils are doing as they must.
