Even beforing witnessing the birth of a Messiah, Jheshiothriq was an optimist. Having been assigned to a long line of warriors, he was himself nothing but a scholar, but he had seen enough of mortal strength to have a profound faith in their ability to change their world. In the Fragmentation, he is at first bewildered, but soon realizes what is wrong and keeps faith that he will be rescued.
