Description Iridal gaunts are impossibly thin, with prismatic, smooth, drooping skin. They have no faces. Their horns curl inward. They have claws and a barbed tail. Their wings are large and feathered. They make no sound.
Procreation Follows the mother.
Magic

One in five million have heart or soul magic. Mind and body magic are possible. Void is possible. Faith is not uncommon.
Special Powers Their claws and tail cause an intense euphoric sensation if not used as a weapon. They have acute senses despite not having faces, and they can control the light around them. They fear nothing and are able to take wounds for others. They cause consecration where their feet touch.
Weaknesses Darkness can weaken them.
Culture Iridal gaunts are strange servants of heaven who appear on Shem at times of horror to bring comfort to the stricken.
