Description Iramu appear to be tall, light-boned demihumans with narrow heads and long fingers. They are hairless except for a small tuft of hair on their heads. Their skin tone ranges throughout the spectrum, but their chests always have a patch that is bright blue. They wear very little clothing.
Procreation With each other, it follows the mother. With other demihumans, humans, and pseudohumans, it varies, but mixed nations are very rare.
Esoterica Iramu are beings of mashoaab and emotional resonance. They also use mana (heart magic), seasonal aether, thorn energy, feirua, uafas, sin, iremia, cleansing light, solar aether, rubedian aether, greenlight aether, glory, sanguine light, dumaqu, sexual humors, karma, poioumenon, and spirits.
Accumulation Iramu phase through soldi wood, accumulate nutrients, and convert them into emotional resonance and mashoaab. Most of it becomes emotional resonance, which they must release. They do this through performance, expression, or, in rare cases, heartcasting. Once they reach the age of 150, they stop having to release energies because they are able to hold so much it never becomes a problem. At this time, they usually spend some time retired before returning to their passions.
Special Powers Iramu have mild empathy. They are resistant to the cold, and they can understand any language so long as they can sense the emotions of the speaker.
Weaknesses Apathy resonance can harm them.
Culture

The focus of iramu society is performances. They are devoted to theatrical or similar arts, which allow them to express their intense emotional resonance safely. As such, every town has many theatres of many kinds, from black box to outdoor amphitheathres, devoted to different kinds of performances. Their towns are led by a small council whose role is to make sure every theatre is funded, stocked, and promoted.

Iramu children are raised by the troupe they are born into. Every troupe is connected to a theatre, which is part of a town, which is part of the small nation the iramu live in in the deep boreal forests. The troupe is led by the elder performers, who choose the member of the troupe who represents them on the town council, usually a younger member who is skilled with promotion. As the iramu child grows up, they learn the craft of their troupe, but they also spend time with other troupes. If they choose to leave for another troupe (and the other troupe accepts), they are allowd to as long as they have fulfilled any lingering duties to their own troupe (finishing a run of a show, etc.). An iramu is considered an adult around the age of 20. At this time, they are given their first shot at a leading role.

Relationships are very casual among the iramu, as emotions are always on the surface. As such, they very rarely keep secrets from each other, and it is rare that anyone feels possessive in these relationships. Gender is recognized but not held important.

Iramu sometimes take their shows on the road, traveling the world. These groups come home every 10 years or so.

Special Powers Iramu can phase through stone, absorbing emotions along the way from what others felt about what they move through.
Weaknesses Anywhere that is untouched by emotion will make them weak.
Culture Iramu live in extended clans called "ventricles." They have a very fluid family structure, with the shifting of relationships reflecting the predominant emotion they are absorbing. Iramu honor the feelings of other living things, reveling in how they feel, taking in every relationship the person has. They do not destroy those relationships, but absorb all of the impurities in it instead.
