Description Iqqaths are thin human-like beings of about 6' in height. Their skin tones run lighter and their hair is usually matted and pale. They are usually adorned with rags, seaweed, trinkets, knotted hair and ropes, and chains.
Procreation Follows the mother.
Esoterica  
Island Iqqaths have a species memory of the Island of Eternity. They seek to create a broken, horrifying image of it on their small river islands. They commune with the islands and the emotional resonance of their community, enforcing communal wretchedness. They gain the power on their island to sense the emotions of others around them. Outside the island, they do not have this empathic power.
Special Powers An iqqath can convert negative emotions into misfortune for others. They can turn liquids into a weakened, poisonous form of rumvine. They can also gain strength from communal wretchedness, which they can collectively focus to destroy and recreate their islands.
Weaknesses Good fortune can harm them.
Culture Iqqaths live in small river islands that decompose quickly. They live in small chains in ramshackle villages that are led by the strongest among them, who enforce their wills on everyone. Children survive through attrition and competition, and common crafts include scavenging, fishing, and theft.
