Elven powers work two ways: first, when a group of elves lives in an area, they begin to dominate life there, shaping the environment around them simply by existing. Second, the way they live their lives determines the sort of abilities they develop as they grow up.

For Iniseli elves, the region tends to become desert, with vegetation common to such--cacti, tumbleweeds, & after a rain, miles upon miles of rich, beautiful flowers. The animals of the desert flock to a Iniseli elven settlement, & oases tend to pop up in their settlements (as opposed to settlements popping up near oases). In the desert, if one wants water, one brings along a Iniseli elf.
