| Description | Ingkas appear to be anthropomorphic gorillas. They stand about 9' tall. They have thick hair and long arms. They are brown, grey, reddish, or black in color. The older males have silver streaks on their backs. All ingkas have unique noses. |

| Culture | Ingkas live in patriarchal societies. The silverbacked leaders of their families determine everything within the society, like small scale dictators. The blackbacked males follow his lead and serve him, and the females are subservient to them. Outside ingka society, the females tend to be more dominant. When two groups of ingkas clash, there is an intricate ritual conflict: hooting, symbolic feeding, rising to full height, throwing vegetables, chest beating, one leg kicking, sideways running, slap and tearing the vegetation, then thumping the ground. This ritual precedes every fight between ingka groups. Midday in ingka society is reserved for resting, mutual grooming, and singing. |
