The cruel, vicious slavers who wield the white, infernal metal schwerstrum, which allows them to control their slaves entirely. They believe, and promote the idea, that they are inherently superior due to their god, Catena Factorem, blessing them with the skills and knowledge to forge the metal into the chains and collars that turn them into tools of dominance.

Schwerstrum

The white, infernal metal of schwerstrum is found most in the Infernal Realms, though mines have been found in what are now Furich Amol in Ansulym and Urayme in Gyrah, thus making these two the centers of the worldwide slave trade. Few realize it, but the same slave traders own the mines in both empires, thus pulling the strings in both despite them being known as two different countries. Smaller mines were more recently found in the Island Bridge in what is now Krevzuk.

The metal is difficult to work, but the imperators discovered the secrets to turn them into tools of enslavement. Even in its rawest form, the metal has properties that make those who touch it lose their will power. Each vein of schwerstrum has a small section that is greyer than the rest of the vein, and this section is considered the "master" ore.
