He was a petty criminal in his homeland and was arrested for it. There, he tried to escape prison, but he was caught... by a slaving ship, which took him and sold him in Haenor. Seeing a chance, he escaped quickly and established himself as a skilled criminal of many kinds, eventually joining the Violet Grith and proving himself, rising up the ranks as he learned new abilities. He was made warden after a few years, then great warden after an especially daring heist, and finally, a few years ago, he became the newest archwarden after the previous one was forced to flee the empire. He is a rogue through and through.
