| Special Powers | Harplings have the halfling fear resistance as normal, but in placeof a taunting skill, a harpling has the ability to affect certain songs that have an effect on others. Legendarily, there is a song that any harpling can learn that will kill those that hear it. Common effects include: sleep (esp. for animals), confusion, affection, calming, soothing of pain, & mesmerizing. Harplings also lack the ability to learn languages, instead, they know how to learn any instrument within a week of working with it. They do have the halfling wanderlust, however. |
