| Description | A hand appears to be whatever is most convenient at the time. Initially, interactions with them lead them to appear as great disembodied hands, hence the name. They do prefer forms that have emphasis on the hands. |

| Magic | One in a hundred has soul magic. One in one thousand have heart magic. Mind magic is possible, but rare. Body magic is possible, but rare. Void is possible, but rare. Faith is not unheard of. |
| Special Powers | Every hand acclimates to a certain force. For most, this force is gravity. For others, it could be magic. Or even political. An individual hand will have mastery of whatever force he is accustomed to. All hands have the ability to appear as whatever they wish, as they are actually really just embodiments of force. |

| Culture | Hands usually come in small groups, called prides. They are usually insular & very cryptic to outsiders, but not often hostile. They travel the planes seeking to influence events to their satisfaction, to become involved, to be more than simple stimuli-response beings. |
