Beliefs:
Felesia (Church of the Forests, Green Church): Every generation has a new leaf. The plants of the world are what give us strength--they are the source of our nourishment and our oxygen. They are essential to our lives, and we must protect and tend them. The environment is paramount. Being one with nature is paramount. Be like the leaf and flow in the wind. Be like the roots and dig deep. Be like the flower and show your beauty. Be like the branches and give support. Be like the trunk and stand strong. We are a part of nature. Do it no harm, for you only harm yourself.
Afterlife:
The Green Church teaches that all are part of the natural world. Death is part of the natural cycle, and when one dies, one is reborn to the cycle as either a higher or lower form, depending not on how one acted but on what one was before, an alternation by generation. One's actions determine, instead, whether one will eventually go on to be part of the nurturing of the world, becoming part of the natural cycle, or if one simply rots and fades upon death, released unto the Divine to be made into a new soul entirely.
