| Description | Gatormen appear to be anthropomorphic alligators. They are very big, about 7' tall, with long, dangerous snouts. They tend to be green, olive, or grey, with lighter undersides. Some white ones have been seen. There are two major breeds: Kalian and Dabusenese. The latter is much rarer. |
| Procreation | Follows the mother. |
| Magic | One in five million have soul magic. One in a million have heart magic. Mind and body magic are possible. Void is possible. Faith is not uncommon. |
| Special Powers | Gatormen are very strong. They are agile swimmers, if a bit lazy, and they have keen senses. They have powerful jaw-shutting muscles, but not jaw-opening muscles. They have loud bellowing voices, and they have one-way breathing. They are very hard to depress--they tend to be lazy and happy all the time. In water battles, they use a death roll to drown their victims. Their laziness is due to their slow metabolisms. |
| Weaknesses | Despair magic or faith can harm them. |
| Culture | Gatormen are solitary and territorial, but friendly about it. They'll share their lands if it means good food or a party, but they determine dominance by size. The bigger, the more important, and this includes fat--fat men and women are respected. They love dancing, wrestling, boxing, and eating. There are legends of them living in sewers, derived from the ancient cults that were forced by the spread of cities to hide there. These are much, much less nice than their counterparts. |
