Ganymede's noted to be in the Scar's area, but she's damned hard to find. No one seems to know where she is, but at the point you're about ready to quit, a voice says, "Rosiel Rhea?" Above you, on a roof.
Rosiellooks, "Ganymede."
"Leave the mage & come up here. We'll talk."
She's about 5'7", black feathers streaked with red, long black hair, short grubby off white dress & no shoes. Scrawny. Wearing a pair of daggers. Her hair is filthy & so is the rest of her.
Rosiel nods to Amarcus. "You may want to turn your back."
He nods & does so, "I'll wait at that inn there." He points & goes toward it.
Rosiel takes flight.
You can see in her eyes that she's affected by the fear, but the rest of her body langauge says "Fuck you if you think I'll react to that."
"Pluck will agree to join you. He hates Footbreaker, & he hates this island. He hates Jowan Gheer even more, too."
Rosiel folds her arms and nods. "And you?"
"I want a share & a half. I have a daughter to support."
"Are you worth it?"
"More than worth it. I know that Belcorn is gonna show you a map tonight. He got it from a greater crow named Fievel, who was later found dead in the harbor, his wings broke, snapped ropes tied to hislegs. I know that it was Alvin Drukker's men what killed him, too, for selling that map to someone else. I know that you're cursed, though I can't figure what the curse is, see. I heard it was that you switched bodies, but you're still in your old body. You got me puzzled there."
Rosiel smiles slightly. "Go on."
"I know that you're goal is to kill Jowan Gheer, & I'll help you with that, gladly. I know that you don't even have a ship right now. I know that you're going to meet Marlan Brekkenridge tonight, but you don't know who he really is. I know Errol Jericho is with you, & he thinks you'll help him kill Captain North. I know Vargas the Thorn is with you, too, & that you saw through his tired old ruse."
Rosiel "And who
is Marlan Brekkenridge?"
"I know you got Miss Swearegen to join you, too, & for her to mention her shame to you. I know Gunner Rhouk is with you--ha! The Red Pirate. The
Ragged Dawn sank his fleet two weeks ago. Him & those five with him escaped on a lifeboat because the three humans took turns eating on the three werewolves."
The Red Pirate's the guy who owned the territory you met Marlan in.
She continues, "Marlan is the man behind the Red Pirate, I should say. His wife, Troya, is the frontwoman for the act. I know he's gonna tell you he's with you tonight so long as you let him set up his ruse on the second ship you get. And he'll help you take any ship in his port."
Rosiel nods.
"I know Ol' Bone-Nose is with you, & he's gonna cast a protection for you tonight, though it likely won't do any good. I know that Alvin Drukker is hitting ships to the south, on their way between Palhur & Ranu. The
Dawn is in the Island Bridge, up to no good."
Rosiel glances at the daggers. "Any good with those?"
"I know Maggaur intends to sail out to Frost Moor Point in the next few weeks--hell yes. Only person to ever best me was Jowan Gheer, & he's got a genie to protect him."
Frost Moor Point is in north Ranu. The old Jorgendish raiders sailed around there & a lot of treasure can be found up there. It's held by Yul'ans.
Rosiel replies, "And what do you want out of this? Just the gold?"
She looks at you, judging you, then says, "Gheer raped me. He's the father of my daughter. I want him dead," then she leans in close, "And I want third dibs, behind you & Belcorn, on whatever Gifts're found."
Rosiel studies her, juding in return, and finally nods. "Gheer dies by my hand. Accept that, and you're in."
"I just want him dead. I don't care how. I'll see you at Manwort's tomorrow morning, then."
Rosiel nods.
