Procreation With each other. Half-dwarves are not possibly without esoteric intervention.
Esoterica Dwarves are aetherial beings, born from the earthpower imbuing the stones they are crafted from. Gabbro dwarves are also beings of temporal aether. They are capable of using any other supernatural energies, but msawhat is rare and often corrupts and destroys them. Divine energies, other forms of aether (especially white tiger), ethereal energy, Foundation, dumaqu, arnum, poioumenon, Damaskian power, and mashoaab are all very common.
Special Powers

Gabbro dwarves' aetherial power grants them the power to see in the dark, the ability to always know the time, and perfect measuring skills. They often have other powers, such as stone shaping, mechanical skill, and location senses.

All dwarves are known for their steady feet, their inborn toughness, and their shrewdness.

Weaknesses Msawhat can corrupt and destroy them.
Culture

Gabbro dwarves live in a fortress city-state made of mechanical gears and timed gates and streets. It shifts and turns with the hours, each section turning precisely to fit neatly with the other sections. The city-state is run by the thane, who belongs to the first gabbro dwarven family, and the thane is served by elected councils.

Every section of the city-state is owned by a craft guild or a religious group. Anyone not belonging to one or the other must pay taxes to them and to the councils. Gabbro dwarven families usually have long histories with the guilds or groups or as independents, and they are fiercely proud of their affiliations. Those who change affiliations either do so with great drama or a schism in the family.

Crafts Clock-makers and the workers of the civic mechanism are the primary and most powerful and unique craftsfolk. Their union is the most powerful and has the most territory, and the thane belongs to it. They gain enormous aetherial power from their work.
