Description: A red skinned, black winged demon with short horns. They are about 4' & have long, thin tails.

Procreation: Furies breed with other furies, creating new furies. If a fuiry & another demon reproduce, it will generally follow the mother. Furies & non-demons generally produce half-demons of varying sorts, though breeding outside of race is rare.

Magic: 1/200000 have soul magic, 1/500000 have heart magic (usually hatred). They are capable of learning mind or body magic, but rarely do. Faith is almost always darkness or hatred, but not commonly had at all. They can use void normally.

Special Powers: Furies are demons of vengeance. They can fly, & when attacked, they always get a counterattack. Their counterattack is at six higher than their actual skill. If they have been summoned for the purposes of revenge, they automatically get the revenge bonus. Furies can be summoned or controlled with a difficulty of 10, using hatred or darkness. Furies also have the ability to manifest fire about them if they are cornered. Mundane fire causes furies no harm.

Culture: Furies live for violence. When they are not serving others, they are fighting amongst themselves, unless another target presents itself. Furies cannot be controlled by more powerful demons, but they will generally follow the orders of anything red demon & up. Furies are vicious, screaming, often berzerking, & mad. There are pits in the Hells filled with them, biting & clawing each other attempting to escape. On Shem, they usually travel in groups of 2 or 3, seeking something to kill. Any decent red demon will be accompanied by a small group of them.

Notables: Zurubam, the first fury, child of Minatha (the Lady of the Ninth Circle, Queen of All Succubi) & Egutu, it dwells on the roof of the Halls of Flame in the Hells, awaiting any challengers or summons.
