I'm not sure I understood about the noble titles. What was that about? Are you getting married?

I think you should double check the messenger services you use. This last letter was definitely crumpled & worn by the time it reached us. Of course, that didn't stop your father & I from sitting down & reading it that very night. But I worry they might lose a letter now & then.

The fish were spectacular. I can't imgine what that must have been like. I had heard stories of people going down to speak to the crabmen, but never further than that. And to imagine, you played there! Then, to top it off, you rode a train! They're just getting them really going everywhere down here. Ushy has used one recently!

Remember how I mentioned Ushy had bought a "phonograph"? Well, he's doing so much with it! He's learned how to make "records" with it! He takes these wax cyllinders & scratches them & they make sounds! He has begun recording people and making them these cyllinders. It's amazing!

Also, we have heard of some very strange things going on up north. They say there might be another war. Wouldn't that be awful! And the Emperor (our Emperor)'s adviser has gone missing! It's so very strange.
