Description Folareis are anthropomorphic capybaras. They stand about 9' tall. They have heavy, barrel-shaped bodies with short heads. They have reddish brown fur on their upper bodies and yellowish brown on their lower bodies. They have vestigial tails and webbed feet. Their legs are slightly longer than proportional. They have blunt muzzles and ears on top of their heads.
Procreation Follows the mother.
Magic One in five million have heart or soul magic. Mind and body magic are possible. Void is possible. Faith is not uncommon.
Special Powers Folareis are excellent swimmers and can close their noses so they can sleep underwater. They have powerful social groups that share a magical bond that allows everyone in the group to use communal magic.
Weaknesses Void can kill them.
Culture The social hierarchies of a folarei group are formed during youth. These hierarchies are stable, headed by the most powerful male. They love to talk, and any gathering of folareis will be a cacophony speech.
