Description Fjell trolls average around 12' tall. Their skin is dark grey, and their eyes are palest yellow. They have bone-spurs and plates along their arms and back, and they have sharp fangs. Their faces are somewhat human like, but longer, sometimes with a snout. Their arms are very long, reaching to the ground, ending in sharp claws, and they have patches of white hair at various parts of their bodies.
Procreation Fjell trolls reproduce sexually with one another, with other troll nations, and with some other humanoids (size- and shape-dependent). With other beings, it is impossible without supernatural intervention.
Esoterica Fjell trolls are beings of rending energy and blood energy. They are users of both, as well as doom infernum, feirua, Damaskian powers, arnum, mijjit, entropy, mansam, void, hollow energy, baleblood, desperation, cacophony, hunger energy, some forms of aether, uafas, black nommos, poarta, gebvel, Raesian energy, fate, kor, karma, spirits, symbolism, and blasphemy.
Special Powers Fjell trolls are supernaturally strong and have innate combative instinct. Their bone-spurs and plates, tusks, and claws are strong and capable of causing significant damage. They have keen senses of smell. They primarily eat flesh, but they can consume almost anything. They are able to predict impending natural disasters by the ache near their bone-spurs.
Breaking Fjell trolls can smash, slash, or split stone or other hard materials with their claws. This power, known as bryte, is only possible if they have recently eaten.
Weaknesses Sunlight will turn them to stone until they are once more hidden from it. Foundation energy can harm them. Their eyesight is relatively weak. They have a cultural fear of lightning as it is seen as a sign of impending attack by enemies. They hate the sound of bells for similar reasons.

Religion

Fjell trolls worship the Trollfather, whom they consider the progenitor of their species. (Their Manifest, Zul'zaraste, is considered the last of their kind, destined to be the last troll alive. She is feared by all trolls, for she dwells in the highest mountain caves.) The Trollfather demands of them sacrifices, so they dedicate their raids to him, and in return, he grants them strength. Every community has at least one priest of the Trollfather whose job it is to perform the dedication ceremonies before raids, sacrifice animals every week, and warn the community of coming disasters (avallanches, earthquakes, blizzards, floods).

Every fjell troll is taught from an early age that the Trollfather will lead them one day in glorious battle in the destruction of the world. If they die before this, they will become his spirit-servants. He finds it offensive and prohibits the use of Foundation energy, the building of major structures, or the fashioning of great or intricate works. Instead, they must keep their tools and weapons, homes and buildings, simple, so they may be prepared for the end times.
