| Description | Ettins stand about 9' tall. They have black hair, tan skin, and black eyes (not irises). They have sharp fangs and tusks, huge bellies, and two heads. Their bodies are usually very scarred. |
| Procreation | Follows the mother amongst ogres. Halfbreeds are possible but rare. |
| Magic | One in a million have soul magic. One in five hundred thousand have heart magic. Body magic is not uncommon, and mind magic is possible. Void is possible, and faith is not uncommon. |
| Special Powers | Ettins are extremely strong. Their bodies were once made to process the flesh of intelligent beings, and as such, they have strong constitutions. They are generally unaffected by the cold, and they have two independent brains. Ettins have but one stomach, but anything eaten by one head will not be registered by the other--thus, most ettins are always hungry. |
| Weaknesses | Harvest magic or faith hurts them. |
| Culture | Ettins used to eat intelligent beings. In their own societies, they have closed down their farms, slave pits, and trade that supplied this delicacy. They now work as real farmers and builders. Ettins live in the mountains, where they spend most of their time bickering with themselves. They tend to live alone (but for themselves), eking out meager existences on what food there is to find in their barren mountain ranges. |
