The first door opens to an empty room The second door, it's locked. No answer.

Rosiel does indeed pound on a door if she finds it locked. But moves on to the next if there's no answer.

Third door, you try it & it opens easily. As you open it, you find a rapir in your face. "Don't move."

A pause. "What do you want?"

Rosiel doesn't appear peturbed. "That depends. Are you Errol Jericho?"

A man with shoulder length, curly blonde hair, blue eyes to die for, & fair skin, wearing fine clothing. A brown vest over a a frilly white shirt, with red leggings tucked into knee high black boots. He wears a broad brimmed hat with a blue plume.

"I am," he bows slightly, though the sword doesn't move.

"Then put that down. We have business to discuss."

He looks you up & down, then sheathes his rapier. "I can rule you out as a john, so what, then, do you want of the infamous Errol Jericho? Reeving, mercenary work, dueling?"

"Reeving. I'm looking for skilled sailors."

He sits, & gestures that you should, too.

Rosiel takes a seat.

"I can sail better than most, & my skill with a rapier is unsurpassed. What's the booty?" He brushes imaginary dirt from his shoulder & admires his nails as he says this.

"Ultimately? The seas themselves."

He smiles, "I've sailed under three different captains. The first was Berlamb Boire, whom you might know to have been slain by Jowan Gheer two years ago. The second was Horatio the Younger, who was captured & hanged by Graysonics while trying to raid Port Mureel. He was a fool & his crew elected Bartolomey North as the new captain. Captain North discovered my... preference & left me marooned. Will my preference offend you? If I go to sea again, I want Captains Gheer & North to regret it, & I want the freedom not to be thrown overboard by ruffians just because I like to be buggered."

"I don't give a damn what you do with your free time so long as it doesn't interfere with my goals, and if any of my crew starts trouble on my ship I'll see them over the side."

"And Gheer & North?"

"I will see Jowan Gheer die a slow and painful death if it's the last thing I do. And North... hmm. Does he have anything that might interest me?"

He smiles, "The Sunset, his ship, perhaps? It's an Amorite naval vessel. Other than that? He's a skilled reever. He'll have some treasure if we hit him. He also works with slavers, so he'll have slaves, too... & if you agree to hit him... He doesn't know it, but Captain Horation had a map to Maggaur's treasure island. The catch to that being that A) North might find out about the map, B) Maggaur might've moved his treasure since then, & C) Maggaur is a dangerous foe."

Rosiel nods thoughtfully. "I may have some use for an Amorite ship..." She shrugs. "If you're as good as you say, and we take North alive, I may even give him to you."

He says, "I'd like to be the one to kill him, but as long as he's dead, I'll be happy. Who else do you have with you? And for that matter, what's your name?"

"Rosiel Rhea. And for the moment I have Belcorn, Amarcus, there, Bone-Nose, Vargas the Thorn. A few others."

He looks sharply at you & goes rigid, then nods his head as he says, "Oh," nervously, "Impressive list."

Rosiel nods. "I intend to have the best."

He seems uncomfortable, but he's mastering it. "I... Pardon, I felt a bit of a chill. Yes, the best. Well, with a blade, I am unrivaled, & I can sail with the best of them. I'll not disappoint you. When do we sail?"

"We meet tomorrow morning, at Manwort's."

He nods, "Excellent. Then I have time to find another night's entertainment. I will be there, Captain. It has been a pleasure meeting you." He bows as he stands, to show you out.

Rosiel departs, "He'll need watching," she says to Amarcus

Amarcus glances back, "He's a dandy, but he was quick with that blade when we walked in."
