A powerful witch, Dubhessa came to Endruin long ago with her mentor, mistakenly believing an empire ruled by women would be kinder to her. Instead, she found it as dangerous as anywhere, with specific laws against witches. After they burned her mentor, she vowed to remain and see the powerful suffer for their violence. She met the Abdit and joined their band of criminals, and she was one of the founding members of the Violet Grith.
