| Description | Ziolos are tiny, 6" tall men or women with green bodies and colorful sprouty haircuts, each one like a common herb, such as valerian, aloe, ginseng, etc. Dodateks are bigger, sapient bushes of various herbs or spice plants: marjoram, coriander, oregano, rosemary, sage, thyme, cilantro, coffee, cinnamon, mint, etc. |

| Magic | 1/200,000 ziolos have heart or soul magic. 1/1000 dodateks have heart or soul magic. Mind magic & body magic are possible, but very rare, as is void. Faith is common. |
| Special Powers | Ziolos & dodateks are connected via their souls, their souls bound together. A dozen ziolos will be bound to one dodatek. Ziolos have healing properties, soothing others with the touch of their rough skin. They can control herb plants and commune via their rootlike feet. Dodateks sweeten the air around them with the flavor of the herb or spice they are related to. They can control spice plants. They commune with the world via their roots and can speak to any sort of plant. |
| Weaknesses | Famine magic or faith hurts them. If a ziolo dies, the dodatek survives unless all its ziolos die. If a dodatek dies, all its ziolos die. |
| Culture | Ziolos live in traveling bands, tribal nomads with a territory near their dodatek, which acts as an anchor and central wiseman. |
