| Description | Deermen are about 9' with their antlers, 6.5 to 7' without. They are as varied as deer on Earth. |
| Procreation | With each other. With other minotaurs for halfbreeds. |
| Magic | One in five million has soul or heart magic. Mind and body magic are possible. Void is possible. Faith is common. |
| Special Powers | They are fleet of foot, intelligent, strong, and tall. They have hooves for feet. One in a million has the ability to shapeshift, though this is more common in Keary. They have an innate ability to sense leadership qualities in others, and they have a strong compulsion to protect the weak. They have good night vision and they can tell territory by scent. |
| Weaknesses | Hunt magic or faith is fatal to them. |
| Culture | They dwell in small tribes, usually, in deep forests. They protect their part of the forest from harm, being close to nature. At around the age of 15, a male deerman will begin growing proper antlers. At about 18 to 20, they will begin the Trials, wherein they challenge each other to special "wrestling" matches involving their antlers. This determines who the females will choose as their mates. The men are subservient to the females, who raise the young and form bonds with each other to create the tribes. The men are not allowed to help raise the children, and are sometimes forced from the tribe at older ages if they are viewed as incapable of work. A deerman will almost always help someone lost in their territory to leave, as they do not like invasions of their privacy, but also do not like to hurt or scare others. |
