| Culture | Deer women dwell in small villages where they lead quiet lives, until the mating seasons, when they slip off quietly to the nearby roads and mortal villages to seduce men so that they might breed, for every year, dozens of their kind are killed by hunters. They will slip into communal dances or hide by roadsides, waiting on young men to pass, then lure men away to seduce them. If the men see their hooves, regardless of reaction, the deer women panic and try to stomp the men to death. |
