4. Quothar Wayfoot is killed by Raithev, but is saved later by Carolia.

5. Lydia the Left-Handed seals the Sword of Ice to stop it from falling into the hands of the Vesturians.

6. Raithev Sris is slain by Balkis Windsong in the Hells, but is captured by Quilia.

7. Virgil Simon seals the Sword of Hope to stop his brother from taking the soul of Deserel.

8. Lowtax is hanged for trying to escape the prison camp.

9. Otatu! Dezell is killed by a drow elven arrow while trying to help take the drow ship.

10. Seamus, a boggan, is slain in the same fight as Otatu!
