Crutinney Winchester

In the early imperial era, Crutinney Winchester, a major rival to the Littany family, made moves to utterly wipe them out and take over their company. He did this not through business acumen or political skill, but by making a deal with a Styxian archdemon named Horocluzin. The watchers believe this deal may have had repercussions that caused the Fragmentation - it certainly failed to destroy the Littany family. History records that Crutinney became very rich and weakened Littany holdings during that era, but that may well have been Zane Littany's embezzelement as well. Or perhaps the two are related. It is known that Crutinney became lost in time during the Fragmentation.

He was raised to wealth and power by his industrialist father - his mother died of cancer when he was young - and he was raised to learn business. He instead studied demons and demonology. As a demonologer, he used his knowledge of contracts to make deals with a number of demons before making his biggest deal with Horocluzin. He died of cancer shortly after the last world war, leaving his fortune and business to his nephew, as he never had children or even married. His private life consisted mostly of drinking and smoking and eating rich foods, living a life of luxury while the world burned.
