| Description | Cornucopians are tall, light-boned demihumans with narrow heads and long, thing fingers. They are hairless on their bodies but have cornsilk yellow hair on their heads. Their skin color ranges from dark amber to palest white. They wear little clothing save for a heavy ruck cloak, which is commonly worn in their nation. |
| Procreation | With each other, it follows the mother. With other demihumans, humans, and pseudohumans, it varies, but mixed nations are very rare. |
| Esoterica | Cornucopians are beings of nourishment and mashoaab. They also use cleansing light, other forms of hegnh, earthpower, currents, and winds aether, solar and seasonal aether, gebvel, symbolism, nectar, sap, mana, mijjit, and symbolism. |
| Accumulation | Cornucopians phase through solid wood, absorbing nutrients and turning them into the energies of nourishment and mashoaab. If they acquire too much nourishment energy, they release it either by touching the head of another cornucopian (usually a child, disabled, elderly, or sick cornucopian) or by using it to feed their crops. At the age of 140, they stop needing to release excess, as their accumulative capacity is unfillable, and they begin to use their nourishing energies more freely. |
| Special Powers | Cornucopians can sense changes in the weather. They have sharp senses of smell. |
| Weaknesses | Hunger or self-denial energies can harm them. |
| Culture | Cornucopians live in farming communities. They are self-sustaining and only trade with outsiders for special luxuries or comforts. They keep some food set aside for this purpose, communally, but otherwise have little use for property. Everyone shares and shares alike amongst them. Their communities are led by a small council of elders, mostly retired farmers. Children are raised by the whole family (usually one family per farm and about five farms per community); they start learning the work of the farm at an early age. They are considered adults by the age of 20. Courtship is informal, starting in late adolescence, usually with cornucopians from other farms or nearby communities. All genders are respected. Becauase each community is self-sufficient, there is no national level government for cornucopians except in times of crisis. If this occurs, they band together and elect leaders. A volunteer militia is formed if needed. The most common crises, however, are floods, which cornucopians have a long history of dealing with when needed. The main time when all cornucopian communities come together is the annual midsummer festival, a short break before harvest.
