These are various ongoing conditons that a character can experience and how they affect the character as time goes on.

Analgesia Character is incapable of feeling pain Wound penalties go down one level; AWA difficulty is 8 Reduced wound penalties but also reduced awareness of wounds Roll AWA to notice how bad the wounds are and get adequate healing
Arenifying Character is turning into sand. Depends on source Roll STR vs power of effect every round After four failures (Tie .5, NF 1, SF 2, EF 3, CF 4), character is completely transformed
Atrophy Character's muscles have weakened -2 Penalty to STR If unaddressed, will increase in power over time; mundane atrophy from lack of use of muscles increases in power one point per month
Boiling Character is turning from a liquid to a gas. See hot water damage Roll STR vs power of effect every round After four failures (Tie .5, NF 1, SF 2, EF 3, CF 4), character is dead
Bound Character is tied up, chained, or otherwise sealed in cord-like objects. Depends on materials Immobilized or slowed movement, roll STR to break free No changes
Burning Character is on fire See fire damage Roll STR vs fire every round. See fire damage
Chartifying Character is turning into paper. Depends on source Roll STR vs power of effect every round After four failures (Tie .5, NF 1, SF 2, EF 3, CF 4), character is completely transformed
Coma Character is in a state of unconsciousness from which they cannot easily escape. See combat damage or medicine charts Complete immobilization and loss of consciousness; requires external support or long-term rolls to recover See medicine charts
Confusion Character's mind is unable to fully understand what it is experiencing Depends on source Roll AWA vs power of effect every round If unaddressed, will increase in power over time, depending on source
Controlled Character is under the control of another. Controller's WIL Roll WIL vs power of effect every round No changes
Dehydration Character has been without water for too long -3, see thirst damage rating Penalties to STR, AWA, and ATH Kills after one critical or exceptional failure, two special, three normal, or six ties
Dendrifying Character is turning into wood. Depends on source Roll STR vs power of effect every round After four failures (Tie .5, NF 1, SF 2, EF 3, CF 4), character is completely transformed
Depressed Character loses interest and happiness. -1 Penalties to AWA, WIL, and PRS If unaddressed, will increase in power over time, depending on source (if any); mundane depression gets worse if conditions worsen or without treatment at a rate of 1 point per failure
Desiccated Character has no water in them. -6, exceptional thirst damage rating Extreme dehydration and death rolls Kills after one failure
Enraged Character cannot control their rage or anger Depends on source Roll PRS or WIL to break free No changes
Entangled Character is immobilized by vines or other cord-like objects around the legs. Depends on materials Immobilized or slowed mobility, roll ATH not to trip No changes
Exhaustion Character has been without sleep for too long -1; difficulty 4 to ignore Penalties to AWA, ATH, PRO, WIL, PRS, and STH If unaddressed, will increase in power over time, depending on source; every day without sleep increases difficulty by 3
Fumifying Character is turning into smoke. Depends on source Roll STR vs power of effect every round After four failures (Tie .5, NF 1, SF 2, EF 3, CF 4), character is completely transformed
Grappled Character is grabbed by someone. Depends on opponent Roll STR vs opponent to break free No changes
Inebriated Character is drunk. -1 per failure level, potency depends on alcohol Penalties to AWA, PRO, ATH, and STH, roll vs STR or resistance for every drink after inebriation is achieved Reduces in power over time unless you drink more; every drink after inebriation is achieved increases difficulty by 1; critical failures means fatal alcohol poisoning, exceptional failure means near fatal poisoning; special means intense hangover; normal means mild hangover; tie means headache
Inflating Character is blowing up like a balloon. Depends on source Roll STR vs power of effect every round If unaddressed, will increase in power over time; 16 ties, 8 NF, four SF, two EF, or one CF will cause you to explode; increases in difficulty 1 point per round of continued inflation
Irradiated Character is poisoned with radiation. See radiation damage See radiation damage See radiation damage
Lethargy Character is mentally and physically tired -1, difficulty 6 Penalties to AWA and ATH If unaddressed, may increase in power over time, depending on source; mundane lethargy increases one point per failure
Malnourishment Character has been without food for too long -2, see hunger damage Penalties to ATH, STR, and AWA If unaddressed, will increase in power over time, depending on source; mundane malnourishment increases in power one point per day without food
Melting Character is liquifying. Depends on source Roll STR vs power of effect every round After four failures (Tie .5, NF 1, SF 2, EF 3, CF 4), character is completely transformed
Metallifying Character is turning into metal. Depends on source Roll STR vs power of effect every round After four failures (Tie .5, NF 1, SF 2, EF 3, CF 4), character is completely transformed
Nauseated Character feels like they need to vomit. Mild 4, Moderate 10, Strong 16, Intense 22 Roll STR to keep from having to vomit May increase in power over time, may go away, depending on source; vomiting takes one's action
Pannifying Character is turning into cloth. Depends on source Roll STR vs power of effect every round After four failures (Tie .5, NF 1, SF 2, EF 3, CF 4), character is completely transformed
Petrifying Character is turning into stone. Depends on source Roll STR vs power of effect every round After four failures (Tie .5, NF 1, SF 2, EF 3, CF 4), character is completely transformed
Poison Character has something poisonous in their system See Poison page Penalties to ATH, STR, and AWA If unaddressed, will increase in power over time, depending on source; see Poison damage for more information
Prone Character is on the ground. -3 Penalties to ATH It takes one's movement to get up
Pruritus Character is itching Difficulty 4 Roll WIL to not scratch If unaddressed, may increase in power over time, depending on source; mundane pruritus increases in power 1 point per failure
Rotting Character is in active physical decomposition. Depends on source Roll STR vs power of effect every round If unaddressed, will increase in power over time, depending on source

Sluggish Character has a slowed reaction. -1, difficulty 4 Penalties to Reaction If unaddressed, may increase in power over time, depending on source; mundane sluggishness increases in power 1 point per failure
Stun Character is mentally and physically dazed Difficulty is the stun power of the attack Roll WIL vs power of stun Reduces in power every round
Sublimating Character is turning into a gas from solid. Depends on source Roll STR vs power of effect every round After four failures (Tie .5, NF 1, SF 2, EF 3, CF 4), character is completely transformed
Unconscious Character is knocked out. See medicine pages Must be assisted in recovering See medicine pages
