Dionysus He shakes his head, "No, no. I mean, he named you."

• Avery_C subsides, running a hand through his hair again. "oh...did he...did /you/ know...? what kind of power my name would have?"

Avery_C "Oh..." he falls silent, a bit awed at that.

• Avery_C blinks, looking a bit more worried. "I...my eyes. you said they'd changed...changed how? I mean, they've been like this since I can remember, changing colors...

Avery_C "...they are still brown...sort of. Sometimes. It doesn't happen often, like the gold doesn't...but it's kind of a chocolate color, I dunno if that's the same."

Dionysus He nods, "It's the same."

• Avery_C looks slightly relieved. "And..." he hesitates. "...my mother...where is she?"

Dionysus He coughs, "Still in the Summer Country."

• Avery_C is silent for a long moment, then nods. softly, "...I've seen what's wrong in the Summer Country...me and Jack, at a Vision temple."

Dionysus He coughs, "It's worse in person."

Dionysus He sighs, "I do not. The sorceror must be responsible."

Avery_C "right...Call if you need me."

• Avery_C lets him sleep and, though reluctant to leave, asks directions to the closest library. there's some research he wants to do.
