The original chinook married an ice elemental named Glacier, who kept her imprisoned. The Father of the Winds became angry at this and sent his other children to save her when he saw snowflakes in the northwestern winds. Eventually, his children freed her from the Glacier, and she returned home to create the race of chinooks. |
