| Esoterica | All angels gain power from the Divine they serve. They are made of heavenly light, and therefore, all of their powers are filtered through that energy. Chayot are imbued with qi and the Divine might of Life. Other powers vary and are limited in their uses, but unholy powers are impossible. |
| Special Powers | Each kind of angel has special powers based on their function in service to their Divine. All angels have a holy aura. For chayot that aura is pure qi, filling the area with vital energy. All angels also communicate directly to the souls of the faithful or those who have not been wholly corrupted. |
| Scribe | Scribe chayot have powers that aide them in the administration of their domains. They have a pen made from argentflame, called a stylus. A chayot's stylus has the power to inscribe detailed accounts of all biological forms. They have an oculus power that allows them to see vitality. They also have an aspectu, which is their power to see and understand ecosystems with a glance. All scribes understand any non-evil language and have the power to understand their Divine's judgment of a mortal and inscribe it upon the scrolls of Heaven. |
| Herald | Herald chayot's powers aide them in spreading the Word of Life. They bear a trumpet called a lituus, which instills vigor in those who respect life and ennervates those who do not. Their cross, or crucis, resurrects the dead. And their scrolls bear the Word, which inspires love for life in those who hear or read it. Herald chayot have a capio, or required task, which requires them to spread vitality. As they do this, they become stronger. Their oculus allows them to see the health of others, and their infundere allows them to infuse strength and vigor into the ill or infirm that they can see. Heralds can appear anywhere, though if they appear in unholy areas, it can hurt them. They speak all non-evil tongues. No one who hears their words, or voce, will ever forget them. |
| Warrior | Warrior chayot have powers that aide them in fighting evil. They bear a sword called a gladius and a shield called a scutum (though their appearances to not necessarily match those terms). Their gladius burns with argentfire that clings to flesh and destroys msawhat, and their scutum is made of blessed ailsilver that lets no killing blow past it. Their oculus allows them to see vitality. They have a presence called a coram, which restores the energy of those near them. Warriors gain power through service. For every 1,000 beings of pure evil they destroy, they gain a new power, capping at twelve:

| Guardian | Guardian chayot protect innocents and followers of Life. Those they protect cannot see them without esoteric intervention. If their ward's soul is in incredible danger, they can intervene at the cost of their existence. Guardian chayot have a power called teneo, which allows them to absorb pain to protect their ward. Their oculus allows them to see vitality, and their augere power allows them to increase the --- in their ward, if need be. Once in the life of their ward, they may physically intervene to protect them, surrounding them with a holy barrier that repels the undead. |
| Lord | Lord chayot are the most powerful of all angels. Their very presence exudes power. This is called coram. For lord chayot, their presence is one of bright argent qi, allowing them to instill vigor and power in those near them. Every lord angel gains power both from serving their Divine and from being served by lesser angels. The gain a new power every Age they exist in service, capping at twelve:

| Service | Chayot serve Life. Scribe chayot administer the work of Life. They keep track of the sins and virtues of all youth and followers of Life. They do all of the minor tasks that make the realm of Life and Vitality work. Herald chayot spread vitality in the world. They leave the Sanctum and spread the Word, seeking out those mortals who will do great works of healing, care, and respect in the world and empowering them. They also carry messages for Life between Her and other Divines. Warrior chayot are the army of Life. They oppose evil in all its forms and serve as Life's defense against the powers of the Infernal. They are a vital and strong army led by their Leader Hyranial. Guardian chayot protect the young and followers of Life. They exist as protectors. Holier beings sometimes have more than one guardian. They cannot leave their service to their ward, or they fall. Lord chayot run the Sanctum and see to it that all other chayot are doing as they must. Chayot hold up the arc of life on Shem. |
