A dog with the wings and head of a bird, it is often confused with a simurgh (body of a bird, head of a dog). It instead lives at the base of the World Tree, instead of in its branches. It carries the haoma seeds that the simurgh drops to the rest of the world by hurling them into rain clouds, but the rain clouds wash away the magic of the seeds and simply spread all the plants of the world.

The chamroshes are protective of birds.
