| Procreation | Dragons mate with each other only. Without intense supernatural interference, half-dragons are an impossibility. Dragons lay one to three eggs at a time. Upon hatching, a dragon immediately begins absorbing background energies. All dragon eggs are filled with pure, liquid draconic energy, which sustains the baby dragon upon hatching. |

All dragons accumulate energies by absorbing them naturally from the area around them. As such, they must carefully cultivate their lairs to provide the right kinds of energies, hence they hoard appropriate objects. Other common powers include invisibility, silent walk, grant stealth, and reveal mystery. |

| Subspecies | Lost dragons have accumulated so much mystery that no one remembers them or can sense them. They exist outside connection with others and learn all the secrets and mysteries there are. They have the power to draw someone into their realm once per year, and they can erase people with a touch. |
| Culture | Castory dragons lay their eggs in hidden crevasses in mountain caverns, and they fiercely guard this secret until their young reach maturity. At maturity, they begin seeking new mysteries and secrets to bring back to their tribes. Their secretive cabals spy on the world around them and are led by the ones with the most cunning. When they grow old, they simply vanish. They mate opportunistically. |
