Twas in the year of 448, when Buckston Burlak, the greatest ship's pilot born to Shem since the mad pilot Ordon took the ship The Quail's Egg up a waterfall, walked out of his father's seaside cottage & took raft to the city of Dreamport. That year marked the beginning of a long, prosperous career in the Seafarers' Guild, it did. Young Buck became Old Buck, but his skill only got sharper.

So when two plucky young lads, wet behind the ears but keen of the eye, came into the Guild Hall & said, "We need the best there ever was," Old Buck stepped forward & says, "He's dead. You can have the next best t'ing, though, if yer got the right ship fer me."

So they sat down for an ale or twa, & soon, Old Buck was interested. He took the matter to the Guildmaster, who rejected it outright.

"Buck, you've got nothing but respect from this Guild, but we're Seafarers. Sea. Not sky. This is absolutely forbidden."

"Wael, sir, if that be the case, I suggest yer take yer Guild & shove it all six feet up yer Guild-approgved keister."

And so saying, the greatest ship's pilot born to Shem since the mad pilot Ordon took the ship The Quail's Egg up a waterfall walked out of the Seafarers' Guild to a new life.
