| Description | At birth, all dragons look like large, pink worms. At maturity, brownstone dragons grow to be four-legged, muscular saurians with large, batlike wings and horns like a bull. Their skin is a dark mahogany and russet brown, with a slight stony glint. |
| Procreation | Dragons mate with each other only. Without intense supernatural interference, half-dragons are an impossibility. Dragons lay one to three eggs at a time. Upon hatching, a dragon immediately begins absorbing background energies. All dragon eggs are filled with pure, liquid draconic energy, which sustains the baby dragon upon hatching. |

| Culture | Brownstone dragons lay their eggs in scabland nests, where the whole clan helps to raise the young. Their clans elect new leaders every millennium. Brownstone dragons are very welcoming of outsiders and attempt to guide travelers to the safest places and best resources within their domains, and they will do this for free, but many provide items for their hoards out of gratitude. They make alliances with locals to help them serve others and to build their carefully curated hoards. Elder brownstone dragons retire to tell stories to the clan and share their wisdom. |
