Breccan was a saoi, a wise one, one who knew the lore backward and forward, one who thought himself above mortal concerns. He wielded Slat Taibhse, the Sceptre of Souls, one of Queen Diaga’s treasures, to channel his wisdom into spells. He was the mentor to the Cinn Mhaithe, the one who guided them and used the magic of the Lore and Tradition to protect them. Then, on the Great Voyage, as they visited the world Ziezi, he met and fell in love with an alien mermaid named Mayamiko. The two lived for many years together until Mayamiko was killed in a tragic accident. Heartbroken and forlorn, Breccan returned to the Green Moon and had a spiritual awakening, becoming a treadai, a priest of the Journeyer, a powerful fey deity.
