A very large dog that lives at crossroads, on ancient road ways, at places of execution, and ancient hill lands. They are said to be servants of the Devil, and they are known to thrive in electrical storms. They have glowing red eyes.

Black dogs can be formed when people sell their souls to the Devil, though they come from other sources. They are powerful hunters and often serve the Wild Hunt.
