His name is taken from the opening words to the Last Chant, an epic spoken only at the bleakest of times--the times the trolls believe an apocalypse could come from. He claims to have been born from the womb of the great worm Jormungandr and the seed of a morag. He certainly looks like no troll to ever have walked Shem. He has the build of a greater troll, but larger, and he has morag-like blue crystal protrusions, making him seem like a troll-type morag, but he has a normal number of arms. Angwur is his son by a broken and battered mother.
