Though all foxes are tricksters, the original red fox tricksters are the asse. They can grow up to seven tails and have many, many powers to engage in trickery and cunning. They are known to be thieves, and they love to teach lessons. Their most well known powers include

• If covered in mud, they can grow to a larger size.
• When stealing eggs, they can hide them in their tails so that the farmer will never find them.
• They can float on the breeze if they have more than one tail.
• If they blink at you, you will forget for a moment what you were doing.
• If they make you laugh, you will be unable to chase them - but you will also have good luck for a day.
• If they make you angry, you will be unable to catch them - and you will have bad luck for a day.
• They can make every object in a room swap places if they sneeze.
