Dionysus Magnum catches up to you, Arsul, out of breath, "Slow down, brother."
- Arsul slows very slightly
- Arsul shakes his head, frustrated
Dionysus "Come on, Arsul! This isn't like you."
Arsul "I can't even play! He can. He can do anything but he's being a coward and an idiot."
Arsul "I can't believe I play with him sometimes."
Dionysus "As a matter of fact, I think you goaded him into just being an idiot."
Arsul "That's not what I meant. He's just being bull-headed."
Dionysus "See? You've got some common ground to start from!"
Dionysus "Just joking."
- Arsul grunts, but it's allllllmost the beginning of a laugh
Dionysus "Come on, Arsul, calm down. We can't do anything about the slaves right now. We'll do what we can, but out here in the streets isn't the place to plot a rebellion anway."
Arsul "I don't want one! Those people will most likely be slaughtered. I just-- I couldn't go along with changing our music to please some fucking slavers."
Dionysus "I'm with you. I think we should play some real goblin music. But I do see the point of not pissing off the slavers--for the sake of the slaves. Don't wanna cause them harm just for our own righteousness, ya know?"
Arsul "I'm--I'll be fine. I just needed to get away from Jack for a minute or two."
Dionysus He nods, "Well, we're pretty far away now. Will it be enough time if we stroll back in their direction slowly?"
Arsul "I still don't think it's right. But it's his band. And I'm not playing in it tonight anyway."
Dionysus Magnum shakes his head, "You could play, you know."
Arsul "Not yet. Not until we get my replacement."
Dionysus He frowns, "I'm just saying, with your Tunic..."
Dionysus He pauses, "Wait, replacement? So you... got a lead?"
- Arsul frowns. "You want me to pull the bow with my feet?" he says incredulous
Arsul "The best one is on this moon. In another town."
Arsul city
Dionysus Magnum chuckles, "Well, actually, I was gonna say you could try... Or... I could lend you my arm, maybe? Not sure how it'd work, but..."
Arsul "No. That's yours."
Dionysus He shrugs, "Just saying. I can drum one armed."
Arsul "I know. But it's yours. Thank you."
Dionysus "Tell me about this replacement."
Arsul "It's-- odd. It's made out of time. It doesn't really make sense. But it's the best aside from my own. Which isn't an option at the moment."
Dionysus He nods, "Well, whatever I can do to help, I will."
Arsul "Thank you my friend."
Dionysus "It's the least I can do, brother." He slaps you on the back with his mithril hand.
- Arsul puts his stump up and around Magnum's own shoulder
Dionysus He laughs, "What a pair we make. And everyone's still staring at us. And this time, I don't think it's just Hunny here that's drawing them."
Dionysus Magnum pauses, "You could sing, ya know."
- Arsul grins. "I think I might try using my feet. I think you might be on to something. Besides, no one wants to hear this set of rusty pipes."
Dionysus He laughs, "That'll be something else."
Arsul "I think if I lower the cello it's possible.
Arsul "
Dionysus "Maybe you can stand on something."
Arsul "I still need to reach the neck."
Dionysus "Oh. Right. Maybe lay it down?"
Arsul "No. I can lift my foot pretty high."
Dionysus He nods, "Sounds like you got it worked out."
Arsul "I think so."
Dionysus He nods, but says nothing more
