Dionysus What's he doing?

Arsul_T he was sleeping. When he wakes he asks for some food and waits for Lucilla to wake

Dionysus Food is brought. Lucilla is still resting.

Arsul_T he waits in the outer room

Dionysus The food is delicious.

Dionysus No visioning right now?

Arsul_T yes he'll ask one

Dionysus Lucilla wakes up. You hear her moving around a bit in the other room.

• Arsul_T stops his playing

Dionysus You hear the door open.

Arsul_T "Lucilla? There is food. I'll just see if there's someone to help us." before he goes to get someone he gets up and leads her to a chair

Dionysus She says quietly, <What?>

Arsul_T "You're speaking!" he says, grinning. "No idea what you're saying but we'll see what we can do."

Arsul_T he pats her shoulder and then goes to call aservant

Dionysus She says something you don't understand & moves a bit backward.

Dionysus A servant comes in, "Baron?"

Arsul_T "I-- I need someone who can speak-- what do they speak in Tamerenthek?"

Dionysus "Ogrish?"

Dionysus "I'll send for someone."

Arsul_T "Thank you. And we might need a woman to help her bathe after she eats. I'm not sure if she'll need help or not."

Dionysus "Yes, Baron."

Dionysus The servant closes the door behind him.

• Arsul_T turns back to her. He moves to the table and takes an apple or peice of fruit. He hold it out to her but doesn't try to push it on her.

Dionysus She takes it hesitantly, then says something in ogrish.

Dionysus You hear her bite into it.

Dionysus A moment later, a servant enters, "You need someone who speaks ogrish, sir?"

Dionysus A feminine voice.

• Arsul_T smiles at the sound

Arsul_T "Please." he turns to the voice. "I think that's all my daughter speaks. And-- I do not. Can you ask her how she's doing and if she wants anything?"

Dionysus "Of course, sir." Then she speaks in ogrish. Lucilla responds very quietly, & they begint o shortly converse, then the servant says, "She says she's tired & scared. She... didn't seem to know you were her father."

• Arsul_T frowns. "I never knew her. I-- she wasn't talking when we found her. I couldn't really explain to her."

Dionysus She speaks again with Lucilla, then, the servant says, sounding worried, "She asks what you want of her?"

• Arsul_T looks slightly uncomfortable. "I-- what would she like to do? I want her to have a life of her own. I just wanted to help her."

Dionysus More speaking, then, "She doesn't seem to believe that, or understand it."

• Arsul_T starts to cry a little although it's mostly apparent as a slight grufness of his voice as his eyes are covered. "I know she's had a very hard lot in Tamarenthek and I know there is not much left to her here or there. But tell her she doesn't have to decide now. She can rest and think. I'd love to know her better but I'm happy enough to know her safer then before."

Dionysus More taking, then, "She seems a bit shaken, sir, but she thanks you & says she doesn't know how... to refuse."

Arsul_T "Refuse?"

Dionysus "I think she's confused, sir. I don't understand myself."

Arsul_T frowns. "Well, perhaps we can start with getting her more comfortable. If she'd like to bathe or have anything special to eat? I think there are people who could help with both. I have to go back to my band. If she's scared of the ship I know a few inns with good people that she coudl stay in. But we travel, I don't know when we're leaving the city and when we'll be back. Can you ask what she'd prefer? To stay in one place

Arsul_T forget that

Dionysus The servant says, "She may stay here, if she likes, if she is your daughter, sir."

Arsul_T "Then you can give her that option as well."

Dionysus She talks with Lucilla, then says, "She doesn't... care, sir. She says whatever you want of her is fine."

Arsul_T "I don't know her mother, wether she has any family remaining here. But if she knows I will try to find them."

• Arsul_T frowns

Arsul_T "I'd like her to stay with me at least until I find a healer to help her. When she's eaten and refreshed we'll return to the airship for the time being."

Dionysus They talk, then she says, "She will follow when you leave, sir."

Arsul_T "I thank you for your help. Is there someone who can help her get ready?"

Dionysus She says, "I can, sir."

Arsul_T "Thank you very much. I'll just pack up my cello while I wait."

Dionysus About thirty minutes later, Lucilla is bathed & fed & dressed.

• Arsul_T thanks the woman once more and opens the door for Lucilla

Dionysus Lucilla follows you.

• Arsul_T takes her and Hunny back to the airship

Arsul_T He tries to introduce them before they leave the palace proper but it's likely an awkward sort of ritual

Dionysus You can't tell what her reaction is, except that she stays on the other side of you from Hunny.
