Beliefs:

Thamia (Church of Hearts, Amorites): Loving one another is primary. Affection is the paramount. Understanding each other is the basis for love, and love is the foundation of all good things. The primary objective is to love unconditionally. Desire is a facet of love, as is lust, and both are acceptable as long as they are used responsibly. True love is the highest of virtues, and is defined variably.

Afterlife:

Lovers believe that their purpose is to love. If they, during their lives, find True Love, they believe they will be united with that Love in the afterlife. They believe that those who serve Love well will be Rewarded in the Promised Lands, and those that hate and do wrong will be cast into the Hells for Punishment. They believe that there is a purgatorial state for the imperfect to have their hearts renewed with love, and that those who die separated from their True Loves will go into the Dream Realm to guide their Loves until both die. They also believe that the greatest fate is to be in the Presence of their Divine, whose Love is perfect, and that all who end up int he Promised Lands wait for her there. Those who were well loved live on in the collective memory for a long, long time.
