| Magic | One in five million have soul magic. None have heart magic. Mind magic, body magic, & void are possible. Faith is not uncommon. |
| Special Powers | Algakuk goblins are immune to the cold. They become weaker as it gets warmer. They have an affinity with dire wolves & can see well in the dark night. Icelings are the same as their parents, but weaker. |
| Weaknesses | Heat harms them. |
| Culture | Algakuk goblins are callous, harsh beings that live brutal lives dominated by tribal shamans that use sacrifice & scare tactics to control them. They are like moon & sea goblins in that they tend toward phases, but each tribe has its own phase, which it is stuck in. Phases tend to revolve around religious or survival issues. At the Rite of Midwinter, the icelings of a clan will be left in the wild cold during the coldest night of the year. They will be told to find the nearest fire and walk into it. Those that can do so and live will pass the Rite and begin their growth spurt and feasting period, growing into full algakuks. Algakuks are referred to as Winter's Children by themselves and other goblins. |
